I’m in Northern Ontario, not in Alberta, but I’m so impressed and made joyful by this hard work. What I see is people organizing and getting on top of the authoritarian playbook before it’s too late. I see people passionately defending democracy and human rights and the wholeness and integrity of Canada as a nation. I’m a fellow Canadian, beyond Alberta’s borders but so proud to be part of the same country with you. And BTW, sixty-plus years ago…I think maybe 64 years ago.. I spent a glorious summer working in Alberta. Banff Springs Hotel. Ran an elevator. My experience of Alberta is maybe a little narrow and very out of date. But I’ve never forgotten the sensational beauty of your corner of the universe. Stay with us. We really, really want you in Canada. Thanks for all your work.
It is still beautiful here in Alberta. Especially the Rockies. We feel we are the canary in the coal mine for the rest of Canada. Thank you soooo much for your email. It is gratifying to know we are part of the much bigger Canadian family and that we are in this together. Our 3 mandates- education and community building will help us do recalls! We are vol7nteering and watching how Thomas Lukazuk does with his Forever Canadian campaign.
Yes. I know all about canaries. I think that’s why I am instinctively grateful … you are out in front of where we all are going to be. And me too! Watching the Forever Canada campaign. It’s a daunting, but fascinating time to be alive.
Very happy to see all the hard work going on to stop the dangerous UCP government destroying Alberta. All Albertans must stand up against the destruction & corruption that is going on. Please talk to everyone you can about the corruption and the need for change. Many lives depend on it. Just look at the vaccine restrictions that have taken place as of August 1/25. I am a senior and I can't get a flu shot until August and there is no information for covid vaccines at all.
